HS Salt supplies Himalayan pink salt products from Pakistan for bulk buying enquiries. For shipment preparation and documentation requirements, review our pink salt export guide from Pakistan. This page helps importers and wholesalers organise order quantities, packing schedules and price comparisons. For edible product grades, see our Himalayan pink edible salt page; for the full range, browse our wholesale salt products.
Define What Bulk Means for Your Order
A bulk enquiry should identify both the total net weight and the way the product will be supplied. A large quantity in buyer-specified bags has different packing requirements from the same net weight divided into labelled retail packs. State whether the product is for repacking, foodservice distribution, retail sale or another intended use.
For mixed-product enquiries, list each requested grade or item separately. Do not combine edible salt, animal lick blocks and decorative salt items into one unspecified tonnage. The HS Salt team will confirm which combinations, packing arrangements and order minimums can be quoted.
Use an Itemised Order Schedule
| Order line | Example of the information to send |
|---|---|
| Product and intended use | Edible pink salt for repacking, or a separately identified salt product. |
| Specification | Particle-size range, item dimensions or target block weight. |
| Packing unit | Required net weight per bag, carton or retail unit. |
| Quantity | Units, cartons or bags and total net product weight. |
| Shipment | Destination port, requested timing and preferred quote basis. |
Compare Unit Prices with Total Net Weight
Use net product weight when comparing prices per kilogram or metric tonne. Keep freight, packaging and additional requested services visible so a low headline price does not hide a different scope. Confirm whether your quote includes labels, outer cartons, pallets, testing or any other specified requirement.
For example, 400 bags containing 25 kg net each represent 10,000 kg, or 10 metric tonnes, of product. The gross shipment weight will also include bags and any cartons, pallets or other packing. This is an order-planning example, not a confirmed HS Salt pack size, minimum order or container-loading offer.
Samples, Specifications and Repeat Orders
A clear specification helps connect the sample, quotation and final order. For a granular product, agree the size range and acceptable appearance. For a salt block, agree the unit-weight tolerance, outline, mounting arrangement and pack. Where analysis is required, identify the parameters and acceptance limits before the order is confirmed.
Retain your approved specification for repeat orders and identify any requested change explicitly. A change from plain bulk bags to branded packs, for example, can affect packing materials, lead time and the minimum quantity the supplier can quote.
Discuss Packing and Shipment Together
Send the destination and receiving requirements along with your product schedule. Bag sizes, carton dimensions, gross weights and pallet requirements influence shipment planning. Ask for the proposed net load and packing plan in the quotation; do not assume one container carries the same tonnage for every product or pack format.
If the order is mainly salt blocks, our animal lick salt export guide covers the information needed for that shipment. For industrial applications, submit a separate industrial salt specification enquiry.
